Vaccines and Immunizations

State and local vaccination requirements for students are vital tools for maintaining high vaccination coverage rates, and in turn, lower rates of vaccine-preventable diseases

Help prevent disease, get vaccinated

The start of a new school year means close contact with other students and the easy spread of germs. Ensure your child is best protected by getting them vaccinated.

Our clinics offer many common immunizations including:

  • Td (tetanus and diphtheria) – administered to patients 11 years of age and older
  • Flu vaccine
  • Tuberculosis/PPD (purified protein derivative)

We also partner with the Greater New Orleans Immunization Network to provide the following:

  • Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, acelluar pertussis / whooping cough vaccine)
  • MMR (measles, mumps, rubella)
  • Hepatitis B
  • Hepatitis A
  • Meningococcal Vaccine
  • HPV vaccine

On-site lab work

LAH clinics offer a wide array of lab tests that are processed in house. In most cases, you will receive your results by the end of business day. Lab tests include:

  • Glucose blood test
  • Flu test
  • Strep test
  • RSV
  • Pregnancy test
  • STD testing
  • Urinalysis
  • Cholesterol
