A new kind of house call

As part of our commitment to provide safe and accessible healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have expanded our services to include telemedicine.

How It Works

FAQs

Who can use telemedicine?

Students, faculty, and staff of the KIPP New Orleans, Collegiate Academies, and InspireNOLA networks.

What is the cost?

There is no cost for students for services rendered in your school clinic. Your insurance, if applicable, will be billed for an office visit at the time of service. No copay or deductible will be due upon the completion of your office visit. LAH will not send you a bill.

Faculty and staff are responsible for any copays, deductibles, or additional fees associated with their visit. Please visit our About Us page for a list of accepted insurance plans.

Can I receive a prescription?

Yes, your provider will send any necessary prescriptions to the pharmacy of your choice. You may also schedule a virtual visit to ask about prescription refills.

Can a minor use the telemedicine service?

Yes. Minors can receive treatment via telemedicine as long as a consent is signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Can more than one family member be seen during the same visit?

Yes but only if the additional family members are students, faculty, or staff members of either KIPP New Orleans, Collegiate Academies, or InspireNOLA networks.

What if I don't have a smart phone or tablet?

Telemedicine visits can be accessed through a desktop computer or laptop if you do not have a smart phone or tablet.
